Chive Blossoms

Latin Name: Allium schoenoprasum

Just like all other alliums, chives send up their flowering stalks in the late spring and early summer. Chive blossoms are tiny purple pompoms of papery peddles that look beautiful sprinkled on top of any dish, adding a punchy garlic flavor.
